About Athena

I am a friendly, patient, kind, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential. I am currently an afterschool program provider for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Many of our students struggle academically, and it is a huge focus of our day to work on math, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I have been working at the same organization and tutoring for over 7 years! I believe that students need high expectations paired with empathy and a safe space to be able to learn, and I would love to be able to provide that for you and your family. I am also fluent in Spanish and would love to help your student practice their foreign language skills.
