About Susan

Besides raising my own 5 children and playing a very active role (starting in the delivery room) with my 11 (so far) grandchildren, I began my career as a Director of the Infant/Toddler programs in certified child care centers. I come with an extensive background in early childhood education and have many certificates of completion in Special Needs Academy's from U. C. D. I have some Montessori background and education and it is with passion that I continue in the teaching, nurturing and the preservation of the total well-being of infants, children and young adults. I have many years of experience and knowledge regarding the care and support of children. I am able to provide much insight and am a true advocate for children. My childcare style is one of patience and compassion with an abundance of energy, love and perceptiveness. Children are awe-inspiring, unspoiled and untouched by the world. To see through their eyes is to grasp every aspect of life with enthusiasm and wonder. They are constant learners and must be challenged to reach their potential. Their capability is endless when given a positive, supportive, safe and loving environment. I continue to work on my Spanish and ASL
