About Martha

I'd describe my personality as funny, determined, task-oriented. I like working with kids because they're fun! I enjoy facilitating inquisitive activities and watching children build their understanding of the world around them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue working with children and supporting parents as well. I started working with kids when I graduated from college with a bachelors in early childhood education and special education specializing in working with children affected by visual impairments. In my spare time, I like to hike, hang out with my boyfriend, make jewelry, and go thrifting! One thing you should know about me is I work best with clear expectations and direct communication. My skills include building rapport with children, supporting parents, and lesson planning by fun and engaging activities for children to support their overall learning!
