About Susan

I'd describe my personality as communicative, punctual, active. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy the wisdom this generation brings. I miss my parents and grandparents and have been employed in the health care industry most of my life. I'm looking for part-time hours but do have flexibility in my day and hours if so needed. I started caring for seniors when I was in high school. I helped my grandmother and she lived until 97 years old. I worked in a skilled nursing home and my undergraduate degree started out in nursing. I also owned a daycare center for 12 years which was licensed through the state of Michigan. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dogs, connecting with friends, gardening, and watching movies. I believe it's important to listen to the needs of the patient, yet have the ability to guide them to do what is needed for their health and safety. I look forward to making a difference in someone life, someone who needs care and attention.
