About Summer

My name is Summer! I live in Mount Pleasant, SC. I have a middle grades education degree focused on math and language arts. I also have 1. 5 years in management experience, which helped me learn the value of organization skills and determination. While I don't teach full time, and chose a different career path after graduating in 2021, I would love to use my skills to help your child learn and perform in different ways! Sometimes the student needs to look at things a different way to retain the information and build their knowledge. I am perfect for the job, and want to help shape the minds of your young student starting at 4th-8th grade. I student-taught each of these grades throughout my college assignments and am familiar with most curriculums. I work full-time at a restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, but would like to spend time outside of that job helping you and your child succeed! I am also available to assist in house work management and/or errands if tutoring/ nannying isn't required.
