About Stephanie

I have 12 years experience as an occupational therapist with a masters degree. I am currently seeking work with a flexible schedule in caregiving. I have worked in skilled nursing facilities & completed home healthcare for adults, post hospitalizations as an occupational therapist. I have a higher level of understanding of health & wellness needs than a typical caregiver. I could also work on exercise plans as well for clients. A good caregiver client relationship could be someone who has recently had surgery or someone who wants to maintain their strength and mobility. I have experience with clients that have various diagnoses such as dementia and Parkinson's. I can make recommendations for home modifications for clients to remain as independent as possible. I can also drive to appointments and complete errands and meal prep. I am patient with clients. I strive to achieve goals set by the client and their families and I have respect for those that need care.
