About Stella

My passion for nurturing young minds and my positive experiences in previous teaching roles led me to become a caregiver. As a patient, creative, and approachable individual, I strive to create a safe and stimulating environment for children. I believe in open and regular communication with parents, using their preferred method, to discuss their child's day and address any concerns. While I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules, I have experience playing educational games that promote learning and enjoy engaging in board games and puzzles with children. As a NYS Certified Teaching Assistant, I have the equivalent of an Associates Degree and I majored in (ECE) training. I am comfortable caring for up to two children in the age groups of 1-3, 4-5, and 6-11. I am also willing to assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

She helped take care of my children when they were young. Now she helps with my grandchildren, when she is in NY. She helps with homework and they are receptive to her. She helps them clean up and maintains their routine. They like when she visits.
