About Steffi

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, organized and goal oriented. I like tutoring because I love to help kids one on one with their learning and it gives the child a more personalized sense of learning and attention that maybe they won't get in a whole classroom. I'm looking for a job that provides flexibility, is paid well and has consistent communication and collaboration with the family. I started tutoring when I was 18 years old with violin lessons and I continued teaching that along with academics throughout college. In my spare time, I like to watch tv/movies, read and hang out with my friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am dedicated to my job and will go above and beyond to help your child learn and grow. My skills include building reading comprehension and fluency, providing step by step instruction that will lead to independency, and creating fun and educational activities to help your child learn and grow.
