About Stacy

I have been an educator for over 15 years. I have worked in the classroom as a teacher, an aide, a small group leader and as a 1:1 tutor. I have worked in several general education classrooms, as well as in special education. I am kind and compassionate and love to help students learn and make connections. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and dedicated. I like tutoring because I love helping and watching students learn and grow in knowledge. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help educate. I started tutoring about 10 years ago and have tutored off and on since then. I have also worked with students as a teacher's aide and as a teacher for over 15 years. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with family and outdoor activities. One thing you should know about me is I am flexible and understanding. My skills include breaking down concepts into manageable steps, clearly explaining concepts, and patience.
