Hi, I'm Stacy. A little background. I worked with special needs for 16 yrs. High functioning, low functioning, some verbal, some nonverbal. Some autistic, some down syndrome and some with dementia. Some clients I took to work, some I took to a day program while others hung out with me to play games and watch movies. I quit that job to stay home and take care of my mom before she past away. She and I agreed that I would do whatever possible so she never had to leave home, I was her only caregiver. After taking care of her I wanted to try to help others stay at home too. I currently do work for a home care agency and have been doing in home care for a little over 6yrs.

Stacy was a remarkable care giver to our mom for six years. She basically carried her shift 7 days a week for the entire six years. We trusted her implicitly. My mom, who suffered strokes in 2018, essentially lost her ability to talk, and her mobility, was forced to rely om caregivers to be able to stay home. She and Stacy developed a rapport that was nice and led us to realize that Stacy cared for our mom beyond the job requirements. We trusted Stacy completely, and relied on her to keep us informed of mom's needs and to alert us to concerns. I cannot give Stacy too much of a recommendation; we would hire her again in an instant if our family needed that support again. Any family would be lucky to have her. Mark D., Indianapolis
