I am long time educator and mom who is now an empty nester. Looking to help seniors with care in their home. I am a great cook. I'd describe my personality as fun loving and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I appreciate all they have done and know things can get a bit difficult and lonely as we age. Helping gives me joy. I'm looking for a job that is in the evenings or weekends and that is flexible I started caring for seniors when my grandmother was ailing. I moved her here from Texas. I put her in her own apartment but became her primary caregiver. former parents in law needed care. I stepped in and cooked and cleaned for them and took them to appointments so they could stay somewhat independent in there own home. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook and spend time with my adult sons One thing you should know about me is I am very compassionate My skills include cooking, cleaning helping and being a companion for errands and appointments
