Hi! I'm Sophia, a musician and student at Santa Barbara City College. I have 1 year of experience as a nanny and 3 years of experience as a basketball coach teaching kids from ages 4-14. I enjoy working with kids and find that my patience, positive attitude, and fun approach to learning makes me an effective tutor. As I mentioned, I am a musician and can teach basic guitar and singing. My academic strong suit is English and I would be happy to help with reading and writing; I can also handle elementary school math and science. I have a car and can easily get myself to your home or to a learning center for tutoring sessions, I am Covid vaccinated and I am happy to wear a mask if that is most comfortable!
