About Andrea

My name is Andrea and I am a second year at Santa Barbara City College. I began tutoring as a senior year in high school when I joined a class to help my peers with homework assignments and exceeding in their classes along with working as a Math Instructor at a math tutoring center in my hometown for my senior year! During this time, I also started tutoring multiple personal clients which I have been consistently tutoring for almost two years now. I would love to become a math teacher one day which is one reason tutoring brings me so much joy! I'd describe my personality as friendly, compassionate, and open-minded. I love working with kids because it brings me joy knowing that I help make them comfortable with what they learn and seeing their faces when they understand what we are working on and can do a problem on their own means so much. I'm looking for a job where I can work with students to complete their homework and find the best study methods for them to succeed!
