Hi there, my name is Skylar and I'm an energetic and creative 18-year-old! I started out in school, but fell into childcare two years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. My rates start at $23/hour for one child. I have worked for 3 families, one for two years, and the others for 18 months each. I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and have taken online courses in child development. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook fancy dishes, write short stories, and play board games with my friends. I love to sing and travel! I look forward to meeting you.

I hired Skylar to watch over my 3 year old daughter. She was with us for a year and a half. Did everything we asked, and then some. Whenever we needed her, she was always a phone call away. She made meals for us even when she didn’t have to. Whenever our baby needed her, she was there. Always interacting with her, and playing with her. Skylar goes above and beyond what is required. She was special to our family, and will always have a special place in our hearts.
