About Maria

Hi there! My name is Maria! I'm a nurturing, energetic, and fun-loving professional caregiver/nanny with more than 10 years of experience in childcare, positive discipline, Montessori, child development, teaching, and working with children on age-appropriate projects. A little bit about me: I've been caring for children for as long as I can remember. I started as a volunteer, supporting vulnerable children in Venezuela, then I became a professional nanny when I was studying abroad in London, and finally started my path as a childcare worker and a teacher in the US. I have a degree in Social Work from LUZ and love using my background to inspire empathy, free play, and confidence in kids! I pay special attention to the emotional needs of the children since I believe it has a powerful impact on their development.
