My last client I worked for her for 4yrs until her untimely passing at 86yrs old. She created a daily schedule that we followed daily. We went on a 30min walk every morning. I learned a lot from her how routine helps with her overall well being. I can do meal prepping depending on each client dietary needs. I can do laundry and any housework needed. I also worked with 2 hospice clients until they passed. With each client I worked for I was the caregiver but I also learned a lot from them that helped me be a better caregiver. Being a caregiver is not for everyone. It takes special people who has a lot of compassion and patience and care so I believe it's a gift.
