About Sheila

I'd describe my personality as kind, friendly, and respectful. I have always enjoyed spending time with older adults. I find it fulfilling to be of assistance. I'm looking for a part time companion/household assistant position. I can also assist with healthy meal prep, indoor or outdoor exercise, transportation and errands if needed. I have cared for elderly adults off and on throughout my life. Most recently I cared for my bed ridden Father-in-law full time in his home for the last six months of his life. In my spare time, I like to practice and teach yoga, walk, read, do word puzzles and sudoku and spend time with my four grandchildren. Things you should know about me: I am responsible and reliable. I enjoy establishing trust and rapport so I can provide pleasant companionship in addition to routine "services". My skills include being an engaging companion, assisting with maintaining as much physical activity as appropriate, kindness and patience.
