About Sheila

Hi! I am a mature woman with a Masters degree in Educational Technology and vast experience in babysitting. I have worked with kids with special needs and am a third generation 'baby whisperer.' I have been working in corporate backup care through Bright Horizons for over 50 families in the Boston area. When the weather is fine, I prefer to take kids on excursions and adventures outside, to the park, the library, local historical sites and museums. When the weather is inclement, we read, tell stories and jokes, do puzzles and board games, art projects and dance parties! I always leave the home tidied up at the end of the day and throughout the day snap fun pictures of the kids to text to parents. If the kids are old enough, I try to make a project of the evening meal for parents--nutrition, planning, shopping, prep, cooking with close supervision and making a nice table presentation. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
