About Shaylyn

I have been a private nanny for two amazing kiddos since 2019. Nannying is by far the greatest adventure I've embarked on thus far because of the love and joy it's brought into my life. Before nannying, I was employed as a teacher through Children of America. I was responsible for not only educating at a preschool age level but incorporating other crucial developmental factors in each child's life. Music, nature, socialization, etc. Prior to becoming a preschool teacher, I was employed through U-46 school districts child care program (SAFE). Throughout the years I was with the company, I cared for and educated 500+ students across several different elementary schools. In my teenage years I was the local sitter in the neighborhood and helped our families as often as I could with child care. I am looking to expand the circle of amazing children in my life, continue growing as a role model/mentor and gain more experience as a care giver.
