About Shannon

Hello! My name is Shannon. I am 24 years old and have 5 years of experience in childcare. I began my childcare journey in 2020 as a behavior technician teaching and caring for children on the autism spectrum. Shortly after, I began nannying as well. With a speciality in teaching motor, vocal, and life skills for children ages 1-13, I am also CPR and first aid certified. Crafts, time spent outside, and open ended creative play is a top priority for me as a nanny. Experience with babies ages 5mo-1yr. I am a passionate, caring, bubbly person with great communication skills and the ability to be flexible, patient, and accommodating! I like working with kids because I love discovering their personalities and interests while aiding in development and watching them reach various milestones. I love providing a fun and safe environment and making every day a new adventure. In my spare time, I love to read, write, paint, draw, build lego sets, and anything else that sparks my creativity.
