Hello! For the past 15 years, I have been employed as a nanny since I moved to Los Angeles from Michigan. However, I have been taking care of kids since I received my babysitting certification from the YMCA as a young teenager! I started off watching family members, then neighbors, and I've been lucky enough to turn childcare into a full-time job. Additionally, on-top of nannying, for the past 3 years, I have worked as a Preschool Teacher with children ranging in age from 1-year-old to 5-years-old. In 2021, I received a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I believe in providing children with a range of experiences from outdoor activities (swimming!), educational trips to libraries and museums, to baking delicious treats together, and also lots of fun and creative arts and craft projects. I am First aid and CPR certified and have my own car equipped with a trunk full arts and crafts and fun activities!

Hiring Ava to work with our family as a caregiver/nanny for our son has been the single best decision my wife and I ever made. She started working with us when our son was six months old and she stayed with us full time until G. started kindergarten. Ava continues to work with us part time when she can, we purposely create time for Ava and our son to spend time together as their relationship is incredibly important. Ava traveled with us to many places, and took care of our son when we had to travel away for work. She is incredibly bright, resourceful, energetic, positive and loving... a modern day Mary Poppins! The best someone could hope for!
