As a former teacher with years of experience caring for children and animals, you can count on me to be responsible, trustworthy, dependable and caring for your special little ones. I specialize in infants, overnights and travel care. I am a retired Montessori toddler teacher and an AMI School Consultant at the 0-3 level. I love to bring and share my Montessori materials when caring for your child! I have over 30 years of experience serving parents and children as a teacher, parent educator with Parents as Teachers, a La Leche League Leader, distributor of baby slings, and child care provider. I have a B. A. in Sociology from Southern Methodist University and an Assistants to Infancy Diploma from Association Montessori Internationale. I am a mom to three adult children, a dog and a cat. I love animals and care for many friend's and family member's pets when they travel, including those with special needs. Other services include home organization and Montessori home consultations.

We have been lucky to have Shannon for many years as our go to caregiver/ Petsitter. Shannon holds a degree in child development.. Has been in a Montessori teacher and parent educator for many years which gives peace of mind.. She helps me keep my child organized and taught me how to set up an environment for my young toddler that would be perfect to encourage and enrich her growth and development. She is great at keeping the kids engaged and providing healthy snacks and meals. I have had her organize the toys on numerous occasions, which is so time consuming. The kids love this! We love coming home to the predictably tidy environment that she has left behind whether a date night, weekend getaway, or in the event she has joined us on a family vacation, she routinely assists with my home organizing to keep closets and cabinets manageable. Shannon will be a welcome breath of fresh air to any busy parent who is lucky enough to get on her schedule..
