About Shannon

I am a passionate, caring and attentive person who has dedicated my life to caring for children. I have a vast background in education and childcare spanning 15 years, such as working as a music and dance teacher, nanny, and classroom Montessori educator. I am currently focusing on homeschooling my 3-year-old son and working as needed jobs around his schedule, as well as a Private Educator at a medical daycare. I am open to overnight newborn care and am well versed in infant needs including establishing healthy eat, play, sleep routines, creating a healthy nursing relationship, and meeting milestones. I graduated from FAU with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, then I continued my education while working in the classroom to obtain a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Montessori Education. My work as a teacher has given me plenty of tools to occupy children's time in a fun and educational manner, keeping safety at the forefront. Hope to hear from you!
