About Shannon

I am a kind and responsible person looking to work as a temporary sitter before starting nursing school this fall. Mainly available on weekdays. Past camp counselor and youth outdoor educator, current CNA and future nurse with a passion for lifting up others. I like encouraging play and fun with the kids I babysit, whether that's playing sports or games, reading books together, or doing crafts. With me, you can expect open communication and my best effort to deliver on your kids' bedtimes, mealtimes, and other needs to keep them in the right kind of routine. Reach out if you have any questions I can answer! I'd describe my personality as caring, active, and personable. I started working with kids when I babysat my younger cousins as a teenager. I later worked as a swim instructor, tutor, and babysitter. I recently helped run 3rd-5th grade field trips on local farms. Now I am a nursing assistant for adults but still volunteer as a youth camp counselor.
