I have enjoyed several years of caregiving including live in home care, residential and day home care. Experienced with transfers using hoyer equipment and without equipment . Experience with dementia and focusing on the here and now in the person's life , to prevent confusion or overload-for example, I will ask how are you now?, instead of what did you have for dinner last night , or what did you do this morning. I focus on personal goals with the person, from the present moment, while moving forward . I have experience with use and maintenance of some medical equipments such as folies , feeding tubes , wheel chairs , shower chairs, prosthetics, hoyers , wheel chair vans, bandages, ect. I'm a thorough cleaner. Im good with personal care including nail care foot care, ect , great with budgeting and record keeping. descent cook and a good driver.
