About Shaina

Hello, I'm Shaina. My childcare experiences consists of all age groups from newborns to teenagers. I have worked with daycares, a private Christian school, and as a at home care provider for a child with special needs. The daycare experience that was most recent gave me the opportunity to start as the Lead Teacher for the Younger Preschool Class ranging in ages from three to 5 years olds. At the private Christian school I was able to work with ages from kindergarten to middle school and tutored them after school in subjects such as Science, Math, and History. As a tutor, I highly encourage STEAM learning activities to create a more engaging and interactive learning style. A few certifications that have been personally awarded are CPR and First Aid and Teaching Literacy and Social Development.
