I am a licensed practical nurse in the state of NJ. My fiance took a job in Torrance and we are living in Long Beach. I have not yet applied to transfer my NJ license. It is my understanding that it takes around a year to transfer the license, so in the mean time I would like to take care of children. I was an in home pediatric nurse in NJ. I primarily took care of special needs children ages 2-5. I absolutely loved my job and I enjoy children of all ages. My experience is primarily with children who have cerebral palsy\autism. I am CPR, vent/trach, g/j tube certified. I took two students to school and stayed with them during the day. That experience was unforgettable and a great learning tool because the classroom provided a setting for multiple handicaps (physical and/or mental).
