Hello & welcome! My name is SJ & I have worked as an RN for almost seven years in both the acute/critical care setting, having found my passion serving medically complex patients. My top 3 Senior Care Skills are *Ability to assist with ADLs, including but not limited to hygiene care/incontinence management, eating/meal preparation, mobility/ambulation assistance, and medication management/preparation. Also able to help with pet care, housekeeping/maintenance, shopping/errands, and transportation to/from appointments. *Highly intuitive with strong nursing assessment/critical thinking skills, extensive background in the assessment and management of complex/emergent situations. Up to date with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS. *Passion for compassionate, collaborative, comprehensive patient and family education in an effort to promote desired health outcomes. I am able to assist in identifying barriers to independence as well as the necessary interventions to address those obstacles.
