Scholastica (Schola) Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Job Performance Review Excellence is just one word that I can use to describe the work ethic of Scholastica (Schola). When juggling all of life’s demands, such as work, spousal support, children’s needs, aging parents, church attendance, friendships and community, you need someone that you can truly trust…someone that you can trust with your parents, with your children, with your privacy and your belongings, all while in the privacy of your own home. Schola provides that trust and a “peace of mind” that allows you to relax a little, breathe and better manage your many obligations and commitments. Schola worked for us for one year. She was very passionate and jovial about the work and service she provided. She was extremely attentive, caring and loving towards her patient, my mother. In addition, she was very proactive in tending to her needs. They/we developed a beautiful mutual bond that was very enjoyable, healing and nurturing. Her personality is endearing. Some of her daily duties included: Monitoring patient vital signs; giving medications (that I administered); morning grooming & dressing and bedtime preparation; tub baths and bed baths; meal preparation, cooking and serving (and later feeding); dishes; laundry and light cleaning; organizing medical supplies and personal items; errands; assisting with patient transfers; assisting with patient transport, and so much more. My mother was a humorous and lively 82-year-old senior and a beautiful Soul. I needed assistance caring for her, while learning how to help her improve her quality of life. Schola helped me do that. For some time, my mother had been living with diabetes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure (CHF) and edema. She was also working hard to recover from an ischemic stroke. Schola assisted with physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), as well as speech therapy (ST). During these therapy sessions, we often had fun and laughed a lot. Schola played a huge role in that. This helped my mother progress even better. Schola was always on time. She was reliable and dependable. She followed through with every commitment she made to us. She was devoted to giving her best in each and every task. Schola cared for my mother as if she was her own mother. She was patient, gentle and thorough. One would never know that we had just met her. Schola cared for my mother as any loving daughter would. As a Home-health Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Scholastica exemplifies professionalism. A consummate professional she is. I believe an extra special bonus is that she is a woman of faith. We were divinely blessed to have found her. My husband and I are very grateful. Schola is a one-of-a-kind CNA. Melba Former Employer of Scholastica (Schola)
