About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as kind, encouraging, and responsible. I like tutoring because I get to use my knowledge and skill set to help students achieve their academic goals and foster a love of learning! My skills include early literacy, foundational math, social studies. My name is Sarah and I am a tutor with a degree in Education and a teaching license in 7-12th grade Social Studies. I have two years of collaboratively homeschool teaching early elementary partnering with another educator through a hybrid learning co-op. I specialize in tutoring students of all ages in a variety of subject areas including elementary math, reading/writing for all grades and Social Studies. I have a heart for teaching reading and helping students learn the foundations, enjoy the process, and become fluent readers! I am an experienced tutor who provides personalized instruction in a fun and engaging way to help students meet their academic goals.
