About Sarah

I graduated from the University of Iowa in May of 2003 with a BA in Elementary Education and endorsements in Early Childhood and Special Education. In December of 2013, I received a K-8 Reading endorsement from Morningside College. I have taught various grades for the last 16 years (preschool, kindergarten, first grade, & sixth grade). I am certified in Adult and Child CPR & First Aid until August 2019. I have worked at a summer program for 10 summers. This was with children ages 6-15. It was a Monday-Friday program for 10 weeks out of the summer. I have babysat children from birth-10 years old since I was in junior high. In addition, I am the oldest of five kids. I often watched my youngest three sisters during the summer and other times while growing up. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my cousins' children, visiting the Omaha Zoo, reading, walking/running, and watching college football and basketball.
