For the past 6 years I have been teaching preschool in a center setting. I have a standard teaching license with a birth-3rd inclusive setting endorsement. I went to the University of Iowa for Elementary Education. I like to focus my work on teaching kindness and compassion to the younger generations. I believe that every kiddo has kindness within them and it is our responsibility as teachers to help kiddos see that kindness in themselves and foster that. I am also very well versed in the Iowa Early Learning Standards and how they align with the Iowa common core. I have taught kiddos from the age of 2-5th grade. I have a special interest in science education and am quite knowledgeable in this area of study as well.
