I have been working with hospice clients for 8 years as well of dementia and Alzheimer's clients. I find that patience, compassion and understanding is a vital part to caring for anyone. However, clients with Dementia, Alzheimer's and Hospice need additional support in this area. I am CPR and First aid trained. I am trained in Foley care as well as full Incontinence care. I have earned Certifications in Dementia care, End-of-life Palliative Care, Navigating the end-of-life journey, Bereavement and Grief Counseling and Safe Handling/Administration of Medication including insulin. I have my College degree in Early Childhood Education but I found my passion with seniors.
