I have been a caregiver for seniors, mentally and physically handicapped adults and children for 14 years. I am comfortable caring for both men and woman. I have been working with hospice clients for 8 years as well of dementia and Alzheimer's clients. I find that patience, compassion and understanding is a vital part to caring for anyone. However, clients with Dementia, Alzheimer's and Hospice need additional support in this area. I am CPR and First aid trained. I am trained in foley care as well as full Incontinence care. I have earned Certifications in Dementia care, End-of-life Palliative Care, Navigating the end-of-life journey, Bereavement and Grief Counseling and Safe Handling/Administration of Medication. I have my College degree in Early Childhood Education but I found my passion with hospice clients.

My mom's homecoming journey started on January 22nd marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey, one that was made possible by the incredible support of Sandra. As we navigated the uncharted waters of hospice care, Sandra's guidance and compassion proved to be a beacon of hope. In the midst of uncertainty, she illuminated the path ahead, empowering us to face the challenges with courage and resilience. Although Sandra’s time with us was brief, Sandra's presence was a precious gift that transformed our experience. With her unwavering dedication, she tended to my mom's every need, allowing us to focus on cherishing the moments we shared. As we gathered around my mom in her final days, Sandra's expertise and kindness helped us navigate the complexities of hospice care. Her collaboration with the hospice nurses ensured that my mom's transition was peaceful and dignified. Surrounded by loved ones, my mom passed away on February 3rd leaving behind a legacy of love and memories. We will forever be grateful for the time we shared with Sandra, whose selfless devotion and love inspired us to find strength in the midst of adversity.
