I helped take care of my grandparents for the last couple years of their lives. They lived into their 90's. My grandfather had heart issues and many medications to take. Also set in his ways. Grandmother had dementia she on the other hand was a lot harder to take care of. Basically she forgot how to take care of herself. It's hard watching an adult go through this process you can see in there eyes they are scared as it is happening. I drove them to appointments, helped shop, clean. I did bath my grandma however not willing to bath or change adult diapers.
