About Samantha

Hello! I am an experienced caregiver who is eager to meet a family in the Bend area for whom I would be a good fit! Apart from working as a babysitter all through high school and college, I was live-in Aupair for a family of four children in London, where I was responsible for getting them ready for school, caring for the toddler during the day, school pickups, afterschool activities, preparing meals, organizing and attending playdates, helping with homework and language lessons, and various home care tasks. I also was a part-time caretake for an infant with colic, and have cared for the nieces and nephews in my family from the time they were born. I am also a personal chef, and can make meal preparation a part of our exchange. I can speak intermediate Spanish if you are interested in tutoring. I have a BFA in Nonfiction Writing so I would also be able to tutor in English or Composition. I enjoy mindfulness, travel, rock climbing, nature and yoga!
