About Briana

Growing up in a house that doubled as a home-daycare, I have always been taking care of kids! I just finished a nanny gig for a 1-year-old boy, but he'll be going to daycare in the fall so I'm looking for a sweet new family! I will be starting my MSW degree part-time on Fridays, but have availability M-Th. I recently worked for 2 years as a Field Instructor and then Supervisor for Deschutes Wilderness Therapy, where I worked and lived with groups of about 8 adolescents every other week. In college, I was a nanny for a family of two kids for over a year, a swim coach, a lifeguard and a jump rope coach. I have also spent summers leading backpacking trips for teenagers. I love getting creative, and encourage kids to play outside, do crafts or make up their own pretend games. I have been a trusted sitter for many families with kids ranging from newborn to 18, and have current WFR, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
