About Samantha

Hello! I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, also licensed in the state of Virginia. I have most recently been employed at various Skilled Nursing Facilities, concentrating on the improved health and wellness of senior citizens. I have experience in assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting, as well as medication management, functional transfers, and meal prep. I was responsible for improving overall function of patients preparing to return home, as well as enhancing the everyday activities of long term residents. I have also acquired three college degrees, all within the science and healthcare field, while achieving a 4. 0 GPA from OTA school. Caregiving is of personal interest to me, as I have provided care to my own grandparents as they aged in place, as well as when they entered hospice care.
