I am also knowledgeable in changing bedsheets w/ patient in bed, helping patient stay hydrated, doing range of motion activities as well as stroke recovery techniques. Georgie was a wonderful caregiver to my mother for over 2 and 1/2 years. She adopted her as her own mother and me as a brother and I consider her family and a sister. She is very thoughtful in everything she does from cooking to cleaning to making sure my mom was comfortable. She took Mom out daily for rides around town to familiar places and where she grew up and to lunch. She also took care of my dog which my mom took care of. When I went to work out of town. We spoke daily about how mom was doing as well as making sure I knew what was going on at all times. During the time Georgie took care of my mom, she organized two birthday parties for Mom and invited her friends and our family, she is very, very thoughtful in everything she does. My mom has passed Georgie and I talk weekly. We considered each other family.
