I'm a 20-year-old certified nursing assistant with a year of professional experience. Coming from a family of nurses, caregiving has always been a big part of my life. My first hands-on experience was through my parents' home care business, which taught me the value of compassionate and attentive care. I later worked at an assisted living facility for 8 months, where I gained more experience in providing support to residents. I started my nursing degree in the Philippines and am now continuing it in the U. S. Here are some of the things I can do: Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide medication reminders and basic health monitoring. Support patients with mobility and transfers. Prepare meals and assist with feeding. Offer companionship and emotional support. Document care and report any health concerns to the appropriate personnel.
