About Rylie

My passion for teaching drives me to create engaging learning experiences that build confidence and self-efficacy in students. I hold a Bachelor's in Biological Systems Engineering from UC Davis, specializing in environmental engineering and regenerative agriculture, and played Division I lacrosse. I later earned a Master's in Teaching and a Multiple Subject Credential from USC, focusing on educational equity and STEM. I've taught all grade levels, worked with diverse student populations, and served as a therapeutic camp counselor. Most recently, I taught 7th-grade math and science at a Title I school, supporting English Learners and underrepresented students in STEM. My mission is to empower students to embrace their identities and develop self-efficacy in both academic and personal growth. Outside of teaching, I love camping, backpacking, gardening, and playing sports, and spending time with my wife and our four cats!
