About Ayesha

Hi! I have over four years of tutoring experience as I worked as a tutor throughout high school, helping with homework and teaching math, English, and science. I also volunteered at an art academy for multiple summers and taught as a teacher's aide. I'm really great with kids and I consider myself to be a proficient teacher. I'm always ready to listen and teach based on the specific skillsets the students have. I'd describe my personality as friendly, engaging, and determined. I like tutoring because it's really rewarding to work with kids and watch them learn and grow in areas that they were concerned about previously. I started tutoring in eighth grade unofficially because my brother has ADHD and needed extra assistance learning his core subjects. I taught him daily and in high school I started tutoring after school at a nearby elementary school which continued until I graduated. In my spare time, I like to read a lot, go hiking, get dinners, and hang out with my friends!
