Hello I've been a volunteer for The Humane Society starting since 2000. Recently I volunteered for 2 years at the Friday Harbor Animal Shelter and they can provide a reference. I've been a huge animal lover ever since birth. I was raised with pets and had them my entire life. I'm an airline pilot who recently is unable to fly for 2 years due to a minor medical reason. I want to spend that time doing a job that I love as much as flying. Taking care of animals brings me immense joy and I'd give your animals nonstop adoration. I have numerous character references, and also have many videos available of me interacting with animals. I'm new at getting paid to care for pets since I've spent my life volunteering to do it. That's why my rate is low. But no one will care for your pet as much I do, so you're getting a good deal. I'm doing it simply because I love animals and want to spend the next 2 years doing something I love until I can return to my airline job. Hope to hear from you :)

I first met Ryan through my work as the volunteer coordinator for an animal protection society. Ryan was one of my volunteers who would come and visit the animals each week. I can tell you that Ryan was kind and gentle with the animals in our care. our cats would look forward to Ryans visit each week. I can also tell you that Ryan has a special way with even the crankiest of cats. we had a tortoiseshell cat named “Tiramisu” who did not like anyone. Ryan was able to win her over with his gentle patience. Something none of the other cat volunteers were able to do. We were very fortunate to have Ryan on our team of volunteers.
