I've been working with pets for several years, including dog walking, volunteering with cats at an animal shelter, and housesitting homes with dogs, cats, rats, geckos, etc. I'm most comfortable caring for cats and ratties, and I have the most experience pet-sitting cats. I'm also comfortable with most dogs, but I have some sound hypersensitivity that makes it hard for me to work with dogs that bark a lot or are generally loud. If necessary, I do have sound-canceling earbuds that allow me to hear just enough to do my job adequately without getting as overstimulated. I encourage active play and socialization, but I'm gentle and careful to respect pets' boundaries whenever possible. You can be sure your little one won't be wanting for affection when they spend time with me! My most recent job consisted of me staying overnight at my client's house for a few days and looking after her two cats. I can provide her reference information if needed
