About Ryan

Hello! My name is Ryan, I'm a student at UMass Amherst looking for part time work to help pay for my schooling As the oldest sibling, I understand what's it's like to care for young children. Most of my work has been in restaurants, but I have experience house sitting for children and pets I definitely have a hands-on approach to caring for kids, as opposed to spending time on my phone. Actively playing with them, encouraging them to express creativity, and treating them as people with valid thoughts and ideas has made it quite easy to quickly make friends with them, and setting healthy boundaries on what they can and can't do when they misbehave teaches them that respect is important too In my free time, I love hiking, learning new skills (I taught myself how to knit recently!) and going to concerts. I'm so excited to meet you!
