About Lana

Hi, my name is Lana (It rhymes with banana) I've been working with children for over 10 years and I've found that my specialty is working with newborns and toddlers. My style of caring for children has been heavily influenced by the gentle parenting approach that focuses on connection, communication and consistency. I'm a huge fan of Waldorf education and I like to incorporate nature and play. I'm familiar with baby LED weaning, natural remedies for babies (teething, upset stomach, colic etc) cooking/preparing meals for little ones and for postpartum health and healing. Both of my parents were children's librarians so reading, singing songs, and learning in fun ways has helped shaped me as an adult. It's important to me that I'm present and available so I stay away from screen time and encourage creativity.
