About Ruby

I am an experienced educator and mental health provider with over 15 years of experience working with kids! I am a mental health counselor who works with unhoused youth. I care a lot about making sure young people feel seen and heard, and enjoy creating safe a supportive environments where kids can play and explore. I have worked as a nanny, babysitter, and Education Assistant in a fourth grade classroom. I am a happy and proud aunt of a 6-year-old little nugget, and feel comfortable around kids of all ages. I am an easy-going person who loves being outside, cooking, baking, hiking, gardening, and arts and crafts. I approach sitting with humor, patience, and compassion. I am currently looking for weekend and evening babysitting opportunities to save for a down payment on a house!
