About Rowan

Hello! My husband and I recently moved here as he was stationed in NC. Back home, I loved giving back to my community, having volunteered for most of HS, much of which was church based and involved supervising the nursery during church services! I'd describe my personality as calm, respectful, and honest. I like working with kids because it's the most fun I ever had volunteering. It's rewarding to help parents out and have fun at work! I'm looking for a job that helps me stay occupied and afloat, and brings new challenges. I started working with kids when I started volunteering with churches in high school, as well as taking 3 ECE courses! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and cat, explore the city, bake, and hike! One thing you should know about me is that I am a safe option. If I am trusted with the safety of a loved one, I will make their comfort and safety my #1 priority. My skills include calming techniques, attentive care, and casual communication.
