I'm looking for a job that fits my college schedule and has great communication with clear instructions. I started working with kids when I was about 17. I used to babysit some of my mom coworkers kids and I absolutely loved it I was just too young to do it professionally at the time, When I went to college, I started volunteering at the kids daycare in church from time to time. I worked with kids aged 3-11. I am comfortable with toddlers however I am not too experienced changing diapers, but I am open to learn. My skills include 1. Playtime I am really good at finding things kids will have fun doing. I myself actuary enjoy doing arts and crafts so whenever we do that I am also participating and having fun, 2. Gentle redirection Kids feelings are valid and I try to explain to them why something is bad rather than scold them with no guidance. I want to make sure they are aware their feelings and thoughts are valued and respected.
