About Rose

I am a certified Postpartum Doula, Special Needs Caretaker and Nanny. For over 10 years I have had the pleasure of working with a range of ages and abilities in special needs capacity. I support play based learning and have extra training around social and emotional growth in regard to behavioral health and other emotional or special needs. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ communities and non white/European communities. I am a part of a lineage of Somatic healers and practitioners in the Bay Area. I am committed to bring this mind/body awareness into the current work I do with children during this time of Pandemic; our children are confronting even on a subconscious level layers of contagion, isolation, instability, sickness and death. Somatic theory can point to all the ways our bodies are deeply connected to one another. Somatic practice can offer tools for processing grief, creating boundaries, connecting to one another, feeling joy, navigating conflict and more.
