Hello! My name is Renee and I absolutely ADORE working with children. I relocated to Austin in 2023 and I recently got married in October of this year. Currently I am preparing for the LSAT in pursuit of a career in Family Law. I have over 20 years of childcare experience, five of which were spent as a supervisor for the Parks and Recreation Dept in the City of Davis, CA. I'm skilled in working with newborns, toddlers, multiples, k-12, illness, children with special needs, food allergies, learning disabilities, unique custody arrangements, and tutoring. Every family is different, and I believe that you are the expert on your child's care. I strive to be adaptable, creative, and extremely communicative in my approach to working with new families, and I always appreciate feedback. Additionally, I hold a BA in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz, and I have over a decade of volunteer experience working as a trauma-informed advocate for survivors of domestic violence.
